Elliot - Artist Inspiration

Hello all! I am excited to share sculptor and visionary multimedia artist Andrew Goldsworthy. His works involve exclusively organic materials and are composed in natural settings. His work is often symmetrical, yet spontaneous, eye-popping, and executed with precision.

I find his work to particularly soothing and I find that it is highly accessible. I also relate to his close connection to nature. I hope you enjoy these examples.

  1. the couple images of the tree branches remind me of Patrick Dougherty's work. He makes insane sculptures out of trees and other natural items.

    1. Indeed! I'm in the process of copying the circle of branches and there must have been some magic that he had.
