Paul Nicklen- Conservation Photographer

These images are made by conservation photographer and biologist Paul Nicklen, who specializes in photographing wildlife and landscapes in the polar regions of the world. He has been able to capture wildlife interactions and scenes that have never been even before, and his photographs are very special to me because of their simple beauty, but also how they can bring us emotionally closer to animals if not physically, show us their soft side, and how relatable they actually can be. He was also the reason I first became interested in photography, and without finding his work, I don't know if I would ever have gotten into making photographs.
